ENGWE T14 good for city

Good bike, delivery had a hiccup

I bought the ENGWE EP-2 Pro a few weeks ago. The bike itself is pretty solid for the price, handles well, and the motor has enough power for my commute. Assembly was straightforward, didn't take too long to get it ready. The delivery was a bit slower than expected though; it took 5 days to reach Denver, which felt a little long. Everything arrived intact, but tracking updates weren't always clear. Overall, I'm happy with the bike, just wish shipping was a bit more consistent with its updates.

Got the Engine Pro, it's cool

I ordered an ENGWE Engine Pro last month and it's been pretty great. I use it to get around town and sometimes on trails. It's got some real kick, way more than I thought it would. Setting it up wasn't too bad, just followed the instructions. The battery lasts a good while too. Only minor thing is the seat could be a bit comfier for longer rides, but I can probably just swap that out later. All in all, I'm glad I went with this one.

I got my T14 last month and it arrived in about a week. Shipped from a European warehouse, so it was pretty quick.

Yeah, I think most of their bikes ship from an EU warehouse, so it shouldn't take too long. My M20 came in like 5-7 days. Way faster than waiting for something from China.

Are Engwe bikes legit in Poland? Like, is the speed limit and everything okay for roads here?

From what I understand, they're generally legal. Most e-bikes have to be capped at 25 km/h for public roads, and Engwe bikes typically meet that out of the box.

Yeah, they come with CE certification and are usually speed-limited for Polish regulations. You can find info about unlocking speed online but that's for private land, obviously.

Thinking about the Engwe X26 but also looking at the Rad Power Bikes. Any opinions on Engwe vs Rad Power, or other alternatives like Himo or Fiido?

Engwe usually gives you more bang for your buck on features compared to Rad Power, especially on the fat tire models. Himo and Fiido are good too, but I feel Engwe has better build quality for the price.

I've ridden both an Engwe and a Himo. Engwe felt sturdier, especially the suspension. For the X26, you're getting a lot of power and range that might cost more with other brands.

Afaik, their codes don't stack. You usually have to pick the best one. Sometimes the product itself will already have a sale price, so check if that's better than a code.
